Fight the BP Oil Spill with Your Xbox

No one wants to defend BP, with or without their Xbox controllers in hand. However, for just $1, or 80 Microsoft points, you can download a new indie game from the  Marketplace called Crisis in the Gulf.

This cheeky little title is actually a simple tower defense game – players place stationary “submarines” with various types of weapons to destroy blobs of oil before they reach the surface, released by the explosion of a “DP” (who could that be referring to?) oil platform.

I played for a while and got most of them, but then the Obama administrations came along and said that it was the worst disaster in like ever, and the wildlife would never recover and everything and now everytime I play I start on -$16 billion.

Even though I can clearly see that no real damage has been done.
