Regarding smoking, yes it’s good to see people nixing it (yes, pun intended … but it seems to me that Fallout has a thematic perspective of viewing the future from the past of the 50s/60s; and in those days, smoking, especially for women, was seen as modern and ‘edgy’.

I do have a question, however; is the choice of “Let’s go sunning” in the foreground with an ‘artificial sun’ (a nuke) as a backdrop, an intentional pun? If so, Well Done!

(it certainly falls into the category of “be careful what you wish for”)

I’m still wondering about the significance of the “Big Book of Science”… is that in the game somewhere?
