Good Old Games – Better when Free
I love the service that the (relatively) new website GOG.com (Good Old Games) provides. They take gaming classics, update them so that they run well on current versions of Windows, and release them for peanuts. I recently purchased the original Fallout for under $10, and it was well worth every penny!
Yesterday GOG.com announced that two games would be released for free to all new and existing GOG.com members. Even if you have no intention of buying old games, it costs you nothing to sign up and download Beneath a Steel Sky and Lure of the Temptress. Enjoy them, and take a look at what GOG has to offer, you might just find that game you’ve been searching for from your childhood.
