It’s a racing game with several tracks and cars to choose from. The cars are all configured in xml files, so it’s easy to go in and make tweaks to the various parameters of the cars. I like it very much. Thanks for sharing your article with us.

Hi Nixie, great list. I’d just like to add a few more. Revolution Software released some of their early games: Lure of the Temptress and Beneath a Steel Sky (which I have played to completion and can say is awesome if you like adventure games).

There’s also an open-source port of the Dink Smallwood engine that plays the original game, plus all the mods.

And finally, the somewhat famous Frozen Bubble- as good a game to kill a few minutes (or hours) with as any.
