The Return of Monkey Island – A Preview

I have said it before, and I am sure I’ll say it again: I love adventure games! I love the old school, immersive classics like Grim Fandango, or more recently Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy and Sam & Max. They seem few and far between these days, but the good news is that the makers of Sam & Max, Telltale Games, will be releasing the new Tales of Monkey Island in less than a week.

I put together a little preview article that contains my thoughts on this upcoming game and a short video with a bit of my rambling and the new gameplay trailer, and I posted it over at GameGirl.com. The game is being released on July 7th, but we aren’t allowed to post reviews until 12:01 am on the morning of the 7th. So you guys will just have to wait for my thoughts on the review copy I have in front of me until then!
