Rental Store Girl: “Sure, if you give me *his* name I can hold it for him.”

    I’m getting kinda sick of the assumption that these kind of games (hell any computer game in fact) is a male only niche…

    Yeah, I see this bias a lot too, the irony here of course being that it came from a girl (and obvious non-gamer), rather than a guy. To be fair to her, she’s probably had lots of calls from girls who were ringing up for their boyfriends/husbands.

    When people ask me what my girlfriend wants for birthday/Xmas, I always say a game as they are easy to buy and fairly cheap, she never gets one! They always think it is for me! Some people don’t get that some girls like COD too!

    Games provide a sence of escape in the same way movies do – girls watch movies so why carnt girls play fps games :-/

    i like computer games that are first person shooting and strategy games .
