anyways one thing you dont really need to use wine for games couse wine is not for games then you can get cedega or crossover those 2 are for gaming wine can run light games if you try to run a good game ill be a crash for sure but there is other thing cedega is not free but support more hardware i think you know this I dont even need to say it

Having tested the beta on various hardware I would say: Don’t hold your breath.

Some people say it’s working A-OK on sub 1Ghz Celerons for me it was a bag of nails on a 1.6Ghz AthlonXP (oldest machine I’ve got).

Which probably means Win7 is going to be as random as Vista is.

BSOD page was hilarious… I personally would have enjoyed the one with the Blue Man Group on there. I’m still glad I’m running XP on my computer. Vista sucks, and it looks like Windows7 won’t be any good either.

Yeah, Microsoft actually created a policy so that every purchase of Windows XP actually “counts” as a Vista sale so it would seem like they sell more Vista copies than they actually do.

p.s -That BSOD thing is awesome.. I don’t think first place should have won though. =P

Photoshop had a contest for people to try thier hand at updating the BSOD screen for Windows 7. Some of the submissions were serious current century updates for M$ to consider it would seem. Vista is a hot mess. I’m happy Microsoft is did a beta release to earn back some of the confidence they squandered with Vista. But I won’t be the first one to get Windows 7. I’ll wait a year or so to see how things shake out.
