Fantastic game, as is the original (The Longest Journey).
I miss the good adventure games.
I’m going to play Siberia 2, apparently it’s quite good. Nothing will ever beat Monkey Island 1 and 2 though

Do so It’s actually the sequel to a game called “The Longest Journey” which, incidentally is a really long game in itself (but not bad! Just not as short as modern games).
If you can stand bad graphics, it’s really best to play this one first as the writer (Ragnar TÃ¸rnquist) really intended this to be a trilogy.

In the vein of adventure games, I’d recommend all (incl. Nixie) to have a go at Lucas Arts last real full-blown adventure game called “Grim Fandango”. The game was largely ignored and it’s really criminal as it’s absolutely phenomenal.

Also, don’t forget ScummVM which can make the graphics from old classics as:
Day of the Tentacle
Monkey Island 2&3
etc.

Much better. These games are genuinely cool and very much recommended.

I am a total sucker for Ragnar TÃ¸rnquist’s writing. Yes, he sometimes gets a bit too wordy, but there are a lot of moments where he really hits the mark.

Have you played the first game in the series, “The Longest Journey” (1999)? The ‘what is art’ scene is wonderful writing!

Yes there are ‘chapters’ that Ragnar confirmed as being worked on, though there hasn’t been much going on lately with his latest project “The Secret World”.

I played this game when it first came out on the PC and loved it. A few months ago I purchased it from X-Box originals and played it again on my 360. Wonderful game. I understand that a series of new “chapters” are in the works to continue the story.
